Cattle caught a bit of a bid Friday as reports of cash came in at levels of $113.00 to $114.00. Packers were good buyers paying up a bit on dressed beef to about $180.00. Boxed beef also continued its climb with choice and select up over .50 cents.

Chicago Wheat closed up 17 cents cutting the weeks loss. As reported… funds increased their short positions selling into that rally holding more than 30,000 contracts.

Corn also enjoyed a bump of 9 cents and actually ended the week positive. Funds there increased their long position to nearly 28,000 contracts.

Beans, had the weakest move up merely 3 cents with a 12 cent loss on he week and the funds sold into that rally modestly b7 about 8100 contracts.
